Oxford University Hockey Club

The Development Squad (a.k.a. The Devrajinos) of OUHC is organised by Amy Griffiths and trains every Friday afternoon or evening depending on pitch availability (Iffley Sports Centre).

These sessions are free and open to everyone, whether you’ve played hockey before or never picked up a stick, whether you’re part of college/university hockey or not. The aim is simple: to get people into hockey in a fun, relaxed environment where everyone feels welcome.

Each week, you can join in by letting us know in the group chat (drop us a message and we’ll add you!). Sessions mix up drills and games tailored to different levels of ability, with music blasting from the JBL Boombox in the background (song requests very much encouraged). All sessions end with a small match with the winning team featuring in the Winning Team Picture ™️ (see attached).
