Captain's Welcome

The Infrequents are all about the spirit of hockey: matching passion on the pitch with a community vibe and all around being great blokes. We want to balance enjoyment and love for the game with a fierce competitive spirit in everything we do. Also known as the Ians or Is, don’t let the name fool you – we have 2 trainings and 2 matches a week, on top of a Wednesday night social. 

With a majority-fresher team last season, we are looking to bounce back from a tough set of results, having narrowly lost to Cambridge. This has only amplified our drive to win, while maintaining the Ians spirit. I have no doubt that we will match this year’s resounding Varsity social victory with on pitch dominance in 2026.
